Microneedling
Here at ACE Dermatology, we offer microneedling with the Collagen P.I.N, a revolutionary pen that creates microchannels as it is passed over the skin and these areas of micro-injury stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis as the skin works to repair itself. The procedure is very well tolerated with topical anesthesia and has minimal downtime associated with it.
We can treat acne scars, enlarged pores, wrinkles, and even some scars with this treatment.
This procedure can also be performed using your own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). The platelet-rich plasma is spread on your face and the microneedling pen helps deliver this into your skin through the microchannels that are created. This injury to the skin causes a release of natural growth factors, new collagen, and elastin. Adding the platelet-rich plasma helps to further stimulate the natural healing process and creation of collagen.
